Thank You Camellia Review

For this blog's premiere post, we decided to review American Idol winner Kris Allen’s sophomore album. Basing to what I listened to, the AI champ's record exudes a lot of promise.

The album showcases Allen’s effortless singing ability together with the nice mix of pop and alternative sound. Entitled Thank You Camellia, the album shares radio friendly tracks that fans can definitely relate to.

The carrier-single “Better with You” was nicely knotted though it sounded different compared to the other tracks. The album includes nice ballads like “Out Alive”, “Blindfolded” and “You Got a Way”.

The acoustic “Teach Me How Love Goes” and “The Vision of Love” can be an easy favorite among listeners too. Pop-ish “Rooftop” can be quite disappointing; but the whole album, though there is no much variety, I’d say is worth your penny.

Try playing it during your siesta time or while drive-tripping, you may find yourself moving along the beat while steering your wheels.

Kris Allen has somewhat proved that he is better than the other American Idol winners by providing his fans a decent sound that most can certainly enjoy.
